VOLUNTEER IN OUR SHOPS

If you have been thinking about volunteering with us, this is a great time. We have lots of volunteering opportunities in the run up to our busiest trading period at Christmas. What’s more, you will make a real difference, turning donations into sales to fuel life saving research.

VOLUNTEER IN OUR SHOPS

If you have been thinking about volunteering with us, this is a great time. We have lots of volunteering opportunities to suit everyone. What’s more, you will make a real difference, turning the donations to our shops into sales to provide vital funds for your Hospice.

Our shops play a key role in generating much needed funds to enable us to provide our vital services to our Island.

By volunteering, your contribution has already had an impact

Our shops are located across the Isle of Man and generate part of the vital funds needed to enable Hospice Isle of Man to continue to provide its services to patients and their families – we couldn’t do this without our wonderful volunteers.

These thriving shops are the face of Hospice in the community, helping to raise awareness of the work we do.

And, by volunteering in one of our Hospice Shops, you will;

  • be supporting your local community;

  • make a difference to Hospice;

  • learn new skills;

  • meet new people; and

  • make new friends.

You will receive a warm welcome from the Hospice retail team when you join and we will provide you with all the training needed to carry out your new role. We will also provide you with on-going support as you volunteer.

At Hospice, we completely understand that our roles need to be flexible to fit in with your lifestyle and other commitments. Regardless of how much time you are able to give to us, you will be helping to make a difference.

What will volunteering in a shop be like?

Whatever your skills or interests, there’s something for everyone…

  • Customer Service and Shop Assistants help make our customers feel special.

  • Stock Room Assistants, Warehouse Assistants and Merchandisers coordinate our books, vinyl, accessories and create our seasonal displays. They also make sure our shops and stores are full of great stock.

  • Volunteer Stock Collection Drivers are out and about in the community and by default, raising awareness of Hospice.

Whatever your interest we're confident will be something at your local Hospice Shop.
