Share the Care Ltd., has a Board of Directors with an appointed Manager responsible to the Board for all operational matters together with the administration of the Company and the maintenance of the properties owned by Share the Care Ltd.

Share the Care Ltd
Share the Care is a relatively large commercial enterprise with an annual turnover exceeding £750,000 and yielding a net profit to Hospice Care, during the last two financial years, of over £400,000. Therefore Share the Care Ltd., has to run as any other efficient business with informed and progressive management. The Directors all bring a variety of experience and expertise contributing to Share the Care's success, past present and future. The Directors offer their services on an honorary basis and are not remunerated.
Share the Care Chairman, Terry Groves, has a long association with Hospice Care. He was a member of Management (now Governors) from 1984 and Appeals Chairman 1985-86. Terry Groves remained on the Management Committee, becoming Deputy Chairman, retiring in the mid 1990s, at which time he became a Director of Share the Care. He was MHK for Ramsey 1991-96 during which time he served as Member for the Health Services (1991-94) and Government minister 1994-96 (DLGE). He is currently a director of a number of IOM companies.

Share the Care Ltd., Manager is Ms Tina Lawton. Share the Care Company Secretary is Mrs. Siobhan Ellison, who is also Office and Administration Manager.
Mrs. Nadene Crowther stepped down as a Director at the end of July 2008. A tribute and appreciation to her tireless work over the twenty-year life of Hospice shops is contained on a separate page.
The Board of Directors meets once a quarter, together with Tina Lawton and Siobhan Ellison, to receive the Manager's report on a variety of matters affecting the policy and running our Shops and Salerooms, to review financial matters and to discuss plans for the future.
Tina Lawton is in regular contact with Chairman Terry Groves and STC Director Mel Warrender, over a variety of subjects where assistance and or advice is needed and, where necessary, the Board are kept informed by e-mail. Other Directors become involved in a variety of subjects where their skills are appropriate.
Peter Vickers, Hospice Administrator from 1986 to 1999, and former Hospice Shops Chairman of Share the Care Limited died on Thursday 28th August 2007. In early 2006 he retired as a Director of Share the Care and many heartfelt thanks were expressed to Peter for his truly loyal support. He will always be much missed inside and outside the Hospice family. A Tribute and Appreciation of Peter can be found on a separate page.
Mr Terry Groves, a longstanding Director of the Company and Hospice supporter with tremendous business experience followed in the Chair and continues to provide valuable guidance and support.
