Total shop, saleroom, eBay, and recyclable receipts in 2008 continued at a high level; income, after all expenses, was up on 2007 and money paid to Hospice Care for the year 2008 was £462,000 - up from £460,000 in 2007.

Once again, a really big thank you to our customers, to all those who gave - and continue to give - so many of the goods we sell in our seven shops and three salerooms, and another very big thanks to our 200 plus Volunteers working in the Shops without whom none of this would be possible; “Every penny worked for and every penny counts."

Our eBay Shop is doing very well

Our eBay shop continues to expand averaging £700 to £800 per week. Would you like to see our News page? There's a description of a spectacular sale there. For a news update follow this link. You can find out how our eBay Shops and studio works? There is a page of photos and explanation.

Are you Recycling? Yes! Then you can help us

a mobile phone each

Hospice Shops now have seven recycling bins around the Island and, hopefully, more to come during the year. This is in addition to our six shops where customers are encouraged to collect postal bags for old mobile phones and printer cartridges for specialist recycling. Full details are on another page

Since launching our policy of recycling - mobile phones, ink cartridges, plus unsaleable shoes and clothes, we can report income to the end of December 2007 of £24,000. Brilliant! It all helps.

Please use our recycling bins and continue disposing your old mobile phones and empty inkjet printer cartridges, all making money for Hospice at the same time.

There is a now a section of this website explaining our strategy of turning your unwanted clothes, shoes, mobile phones, and printer cartridges.
